| Old Allatoona Cemetery | ||
| During different trips to our adopted “Old Allatoona Cemetery” in Marietta, GA, we were able to clean up over 150 bags of leaves, several piles of old branches and limbs, and add over 2.5 yards of dirt to fill in holes and sunken graves. Several compatriots from our chapter and family members participated in this clean-up. Since 2004 we were able to make and put in 84 crosses on graves with no markers and we have made a good start filling in the sunken graves, cleaning up all the debris and unwanted growth . David Thompson heads the ongoing efforts at Old Allatoona where recently fallen trees recently were cut up to keep this cemetery in top condition.
A surprise visit from family members of one of the buried. | ||
