Patriotism Week  August 2007

Once again members of the Captain John Collins Chapter, in conjunction with the Sons of Liberty Chapter, took  the lessons of patriotism to our local high schools.  In the past four years it is estimated that approximately 14,000 students were reached through assemblies conducted in 22 area high schools. 

  • JROTC units presented the colors.
  • SAR's spoke of honoring the American Flag and Anthem
  • Francis Scott Key spoke to students of his night on the ship "Surprise"
  • One student at each school sang the Star Spangled Banner acapella

Thousands of students have been reached with the message of patriotism.
