Over 150 letters were sent to Eagle Scouts in the area to make them aware of the scholarship opportunities through the SAR. From these letters we hope to get numerous responses for entries into the competition. Captain John Collins Chapter sends out more invitation letters to Scouts than any other chapter in the state. Much thanks to Compatriots Ed Brown and Art Spalding in spear-heading this valuable program.
 

Wes Brown, Troop 1776 of St. Anne’s Church in East Cobb, received the chapter’s Eagle Scout Award from Compatriot Ed Brown. Wes holds 26 merit badges.
